Maintenance Associate - Building Maintenance

Boardwalk is seeking a skilled Maintenance Associate to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure daily communication with site Associates to address maintenance requests and emergencies.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including vacant suite maintenance and touch-ups, to ensure quality standards are met.
  3. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and reporting to identify potential issues.
  4. Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely completion of work and adherence to contract conditions.
  5. Perform snow removal and touch-up painting as required.
  6. Manage inventory and ensure accurate tracking of equipment and supplies.
  7. Respond to on-call emergency maintenance requests as scheduled by the Area Coordinator.
  8. Complete administrative tasks on a tablet, including documentation and reporting.

Requirements:

  1. 2 years of maintenance service experience preferred.
  2. 3-5 years of renovation experience preferred.
  3. Working knowledge of English language, both verbal and written.
  4. Familiarity with computer/tablet systems is an asset.
