Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, identify and report defects, and contribute to the improvement of our testing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality, including developing and maintaining test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Identify and Report Defects: Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with the development team for resolution.
- Contribute to Testing Processes: Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, including collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement effective testing strategies.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in software quality assurance.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of software testing, test planning, and test automation, including experience with Python-based test automation and Agile methodologies.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent, with 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Python-based test automation.
- Desirable Skills: Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools, Gitlab, GitHub, or other version control tools, and knowledge of Docker containers or other VM environments.
