Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Wealth Portfolio Manager to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Private Wealth department, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios and providing exceptional service to our high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client portfolios in accordance with our firm's guidance and research team philosophy.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive investment strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, including regular portfolio reviews and updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and optimal portfolio performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance or a related field.
  • Registered investment professional designation such as the CFA charter and/or CIM.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience in discretionary investment management.
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to build trust with clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
