Job Title: Private Wealth Advisor

As a Private Wealth Advisor at National Bank, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and building strong, trusting relationships with our wealthy clients. Your expertise in financial planning and wealth management will enable you to develop and implement tailored strategies to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development plans to grow the wealthy clientele market in the Montreal area.
  • Provide wealth management advisory services to clients, including financial planning, investment advice, and portfolio management.
  • Analyze client needs and develop integrated financial strategies to meet their goals.
  • Implement recommendations arising from financial planning and monitor client portfolios to ensure alignment with their objectives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage National Bank's business lines and expertise.
About the Team:

You will be part of a dynamic team of around thirty colleagues, reporting to the regional vice-president. Our team is known for its dedication and expertise, and we offer a hybrid work mode that allows you to balance office time with meetings, events, and remote work.

Our training programs are designed to help you master your profession, with personalized content on topics such as financial planning, financial markets, and investment solutions. You will also have access to colleagues with diverse expertise and experiences, enriching your development and growth.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or master's degree related to the sector of activity and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Completed Securities Trading Course and Standards of Conduct Handbook.
  • Holding another professional title, such as CFA, FICVM, CPA, or Pl.Fin, is highly desirable.
  • Experience in business development with wealthy clients and/or entrepreneurs.
  • Ability to develop trusting and lasting relationships.
  • Excellent knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and the economy.
  • Knowledge of taxation, retirement planning, and estate planning.
Language:

English and French are the primary languages required for this role, as you will need to serve clients who speak a language other than French regularly.
