Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of stationary industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations.
  • Diagnose issues and determine necessary materials or parts for repairs, coordinating with the Parts Department as per company guidelines.
  • Install, align, maintain, dismantle, and overhaul machinery, including pumps, presses, agitators, gearboxes, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Collaborate with Electricians, Welders, and other trades to ensure effective repairs and installations.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment and facilities to verify that all safety guards and protective devices are operational, reporting any deficiencies to management.
  • Monitor equipment performance to prevent breakdowns and minimize production loss.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
  • Journeyman Millwright certification; Journeyman Welder certification is a plus.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Aerial Work Platform certification is advantageous.
  • Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
