Power Engineer / Gas Plant Operator Job Opportunity

Fort St. John, BC

Roska DBO Inc., a leading operations company, is seeking an experienced Power Engineer / Gas Plant Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will work at a facility near Fort St. John, alternating between 7/7 and 14/14 rotations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and maintain power generation and distribution systems
  2. Monitor and control plant operations to ensure safe and efficient production
  3. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities
  4. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 10+ years of experience in a similar role
  2. Preference given to those with board/panel experience
  3. Minimum 4th class power engineering ticket
  4. Valid Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, and Common Safety Orientation certifications
  5. Clean driving abstract required
  6. Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  7. Strong communication and teamwork skills
