We are seeking a Power Engineering Student to join our team at Canadian Natural, where you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals and gain valuable experience in plant operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the unit to ensure all production rates are achieved and maintained, assisting in daily rounds and routines associated with all steam generators, and learning the layout, purpose, and operating parameters of your designated area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain production rates
  • Assist in daily rounds and routines
  • Learn and understand plant operations
  • Assist operators in equipment preparation and maintenance
  • Participate in safety programs and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Power Engineering Technologist Program
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License (including GDL) with a reasonably clean driver's abstract
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
