Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cutter Operator to join our team at DIVISION 2 CONTRACTING LTD.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various cutting machines and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality standards in our production processes.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
Work Environment

The role involves working in a demolition setting, where precision and attention to detail are paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate blade or wire saws to accurately cut stone blocks to specified dimensions.
  • Set up and manage automatic machines for mixing ingredients, extruding clay mixtures, and cutting the extruded clay into designated sections.
  • Adjust and operate single-function machines for mixing, drilling, grinding, and cutting concrete to meet project specifications.
  • Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Utilize forklifts, cranes, or hydraulic hoists to move products safely.
  • Operate mechanical or hydraulic rams and hot-presses for forming pottery and porcelain ware.
  • Perform ongoing adjustments to machinery to maintain optimal performance.
  • Drill holes in stone blocks or slabs according to precise specifications.
Physical Requirements

Ability to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
