Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key resource for our customers, you will provide expert-level information and recommendations on our product offerings, ensuring a seamless purchasing process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm greeting to customers and respond to their inquiries via phone and email
  • Process customer orders, quote requests, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide expert-level information and recommendations on our product offerings
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales representatives for further development and closure
  • Work within our ERP system to manage sales orders and customer information
  • Provide current pricing and quotes to customers as requested
  • Deal with customer complaints and issues in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner
  • Keep workspace, showroom, and display areas clean and free of clutter and dust
  • Handle cash transactions and provide correct change
  • Work cross-functionally with department teams to ensure exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service and/or inside sales role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills with a customer-first mentality
  • Proficient with a Windows computer environment
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Strong ability to multi-task and build customer relationships
  • Detail-oriented and organized with effective time management skills
  • Highly motivated and committed with a desire to succeed
