Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food service team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality food standards, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Train and develop staff in job duties, food safety procedures, and customer service skills.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
  • Operations and Quality Control
    • Establish and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
    • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and optimize supply chain efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit accurate reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.
    • Manage staff schedules, time-off requests, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
