Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc.
Job Summary:The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training new employees, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement work schedules to meet business needs
- Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, and sales
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods
The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced food service environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment is essential.
