Job Summary:

Communitas Supportive Care Society is a charitable organization providing social care services in communities across British Columbia to individuals living with disabilities. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the executive team
  • Develop and implement financial plans to support the organization's mission and goals
  • Oversee financial risk management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead the financial planning and budgeting process
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to drive business growth and development

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, and CPA designation
  • At least 5 years of experience in senior financial management
  • Alignment with Communitas' values and commitment to providing high-quality social care services
  • Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills
  • Experience in the non-profit sector and social services is an asset
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
