About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at JAS KULAR & ASSOCIATES INC. as a Financial and Business Services Director - Strategic Leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate financial, human, and material resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with business objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs that drive business growth and success.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, ensuring effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Leadership Development: Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff, delegating authority and creating optimal working conditions to drive business performance.
  • Event Management: Manage events and activities that support business objectives, ensuring effective planning, execution, and evaluation.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning to ensure business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support for Diverse Groups: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, as well as recruit and support newcomers and refugees, and apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities.
  • Work Environment: Work in a permanent position, with a work language of English, and work hours of 30 hours per week.
