About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at TOWN AND COUNTRY MOTEL. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Activities
    • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Inspect and Maintain Hotel Facilities
    • Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
    • Identify and address any maintenance or repair issues promptly.
  • Manage Budget and Resources
    • Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and within approved limits.
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Lead and Develop Team Members
    • Supervise and mentor a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Work Setting
    • Hotel, motel, or resort environment
  • Physical Demands
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
