  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in activities and conversations to promote social interaction
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, ensuring residents' needs are met
  • Document resident care and progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Requirements
  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker program or equivalent experience
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and bending
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
