Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement life skills workshops to empower clients with essential skills for daily living.
  • Assess clients' relevant skill strengths and development needs to create personalized support plans.
  • Provide food preparation and meal planning services to ensure clients' nutritional needs are met.
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address clients' emotional and psychological needs.
  • Assist clients with special needs, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings, promoting social interaction and community integration.
  • Offer mentoring and guidance to clients, helping them set and achieve personal goals.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., social work, child and youth care).
  • First Aid Certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Experience working with children and youth, preferably in a child welfare setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in life skills instruction, counseling, or mentoring.
  • Knowledge of child and youth development principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
