About the Role

Bhinder Elite Exteriors Ltd. is seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team of exterior finishing specialists. As a Stucco Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a weatherproof surface for our clients' buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to form a durable and weather-resistant surface
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering, ensuring a smooth and even finish
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to achieve the desired texture and appearance
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, as required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency, ensuring a high-quality finish
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim to add a touch of elegance to our clients' buildings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to create a seamless and weatherproof surface
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to access and complete plastering tasks
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Handle heavy loads and work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Stand for extended periods and work under tight deadlines
  • Walk and move around the work site, navigating scaffolding and swing stages
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in stucco plastering or a related field
  • Permanent employment with a reputable company
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
  • 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for overtime
