Job Title: Stucco Plasterer

K. Steve's Stucco Ltd is seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team. As a Stucco Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and durable finish.

Work Environment

Our Stucco Plasterer will work in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential areas. You will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and in dusty and noisy environments.

Responsibilities
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth and durable finish
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
  • Install exterior and interior steel studs
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Ability to work in dusty and noisy environments
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
