Job Description

We are seeking an experienced EMC Design Specialist to join our multidisciplinary R&D team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) solutions for our products. Your expertise in EMC design, testing, and validation will be crucial in ensuring our products meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to design and develop EMC solutions for our products.
  • Develop and implement EMC testing and validation procedures to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Design and develop EMI shielding solutions and antennas for wireless communication systems.
  • Lead physics and electromagnetic modeling and simulations to optimize EMC performance.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of EMC design and testing processes.
  • Guide the R&D team on the selection and interpretation of applicable EMC standards.
  • Work with external laboratories for EMC testing and certification.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in EMC design, testing, and validation.
  • Significant experience with EM simulation software and lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, VNA, etc.).
  • Solid background in fundamental physics and electromagnetism.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analog circuit design and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
  • Experience with medical devices.
