Job Title: Director of Operations, Medical AffairsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations, Medical Affairs to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide strategic leadership and direction to our medical staff, ensuring that we deliver high-quality healthcare services to our communities.
About the RoleThe Director of Operations, Medical Affairs will be responsible for:
- Providing operational leadership to our medical staff, including governance, credentialing, and contracting
- Developing and implementing human resource strategies, including recruitment, compensation models, and cultural safety and humility standards
- Leading the planning and implementation of medical administration initiatives related to the delivery of physician services in BC First Nation-led Primary Care projects
- Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with provincial and federal health authorities, as well as Indigenous Services Canada
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Public Health Administration, Health Care Administration, or Business Administration, or a relevant field
- A Master's degree would be an asset
- Relevant, recent, and significant experience working with medical staff and within BC's healthcare system
- Experience working with Indigenous individuals, communities, and/or organizations in the area of health and wellness
- Experience planning, supervising, and evaluating programs and services
