What We Are Looking For:
Our clinic is seeking a talented individual to bring their exceptional skills and experience to our team as a Patient Services Specialist.
In this role, you will be vital to FYidoctors by providing outstanding service to our patients. As often the first point of contact, your passion for people and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience will be essential. Your contributions will help us positively impact the health and well-being of our current and future patients.
This is a full-time, permanent position requiring up to 40 hours of work per week, including some Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting pre-testing services
- Recording visual acuities and patients' medical histories for the optometrist
- Preparing examination rooms
- Engaging with patients in person, over the phone, and via email
- Processing billing for patients, their medical service providers, and other third parties
- Managing appointment scheduling, prescription printouts, and billing inquiries
- Maintaining high standards of customer service through your interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
- Customer-facing experience, ideally in a retail setting
- Administrative experience is a plus
- Proficiency with technology and computer systems
- A professional demeanor with a genuine interest in interacting with people
