About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Fresh Prep. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a variety of teams, including ingredient portioning and finished product assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage production teams to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, production, quality assurance, and human resources, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct incident investigations and facilitate corrective actions to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage employee performance, provide coaching and development opportunities, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for production departments.
  • Implement and maintain lean manufacturing and six sigma principles to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing or production environment, with a focus on supervisory or management roles.
  • Proven track record of process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and six sigma principles, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in using Google Sheets and other productivity tools.
