Jardeg-Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Infrastructure Superintendent to oversee construction projects in Calgary and Edmonton.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of diverse civil infrastructure projects, including buildings, water systems, industrial facilities, and rail infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in pre-construction planning and project development phases.
  • Effectively manage on-site personnel, implementing rigorous quality control measures and prioritizing safety protocols.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with various teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and maintain open communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively address project challenges, facilitate issue resolution, and contribute to effective meeting outcomes.
  • Monitor project budgets and production schedules, ensuring adherence to established targets.

Qualifications:

  • 2-8 years of proven experience in the construction industry, with 1-3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of structural concrete, steelwork, earthworks, and foundation construction techniques.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects valued between $1 million and $15 million.
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate mid-sized project teams.
  • Solid knowledge of construction engineering principles and design practices.
  • Proficiency with construction software and management systems.
