About the Role

We are seeking a recent graduate or student in a Computer Science program or related field with a focus on Programming and Systems Development to join our Information Technology team. As a Junior Systems Developer, you will assist the IT branch by providing operational and technical support of new and enhanced systems, sub systems and services for a range of IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with systems analysis on the impact of proposed maintenance or feature enhancements requests
  • Assist with User Interface coding and debugging based on given technical requirements
  • Collaborate with IT staff to write high-quality, well-documented, and tested code based on inputs and direction from the Manager, Information Technology
  • Participate in the review of detailed designs to ensure that they meet functional and nonfunctional requirements and comply with architectural standards
Requirements
  • Recent graduate within the last year or enrolled in a Computer Science program or related field in IT with a focus on Programming and Systems Development
  • Knowledge of computer science, data structure, design frameworks, programming languages
  • Front-end web development experience with Angular or ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • An understanding of agile methodology
  • Experience with Python
