About This Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Framatome. As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems and components for our nuclear energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues and improve design and development processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in mechanical engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve our designs and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in design and development.
  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng) license or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply technical knowledge to complex problems.
