Project Manager

Are you a motivated and organized individual looking for a challenging role in a dynamic industry? We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team at Paul Davis of Red Deer.

Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all mitigation and reconstruction projects to completion, on time and on budget. This includes interacting with customers and carriers, creating work orders, scheduling vendors and sub-contractors, and managing on-site foremen.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the start and completion of reconstruction projects using company resources and sub-contractor trades.
  • Interact and communicate with customers and carriers frequently on the status of the project.
  • Create work orders for projects.
  • Schedule vendors and sub-contractors for repairs to be completed.
  • Manage an on-site foreman on each project.
  • Order materials.
  • Review estimates as needed, align budgets with expectations with project estimator.
  • Provide weekly updates on all projects that are active.
  • Monitor job sites for safety issues, quality, and for training opportunities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in construction and construction management/supervision.
  • Three to five years or more of management or leadership experience in the restoration/construction industry.
Competencies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, One Drive, Share Point).
  • Knowledge of estimating platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Managing projects.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Sales knowledge.
  • Construction experience is an asset.
  • Entrepreneurial skills.
  • Ability to be assertive, empathetic, inspiring, and engaging with others.
  • Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems and estimating platforms.
  • Ability to answer and communicate with independent franchises via phone and email.
  • Ability to work with office equipment (fax, computer).
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to pass and maintain a satisfactory background check.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely.
  • Stress management and composure.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain a level of confidentiality.

  • All other duties as assigned.
