Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a critical Oil & Gas project in Central Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the project, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution: Ensure the project adheres to approved plans and specifications.
  • Site Management: Arrange and oversee soil and concrete testing, reporting any irregularities to the Project/Field Manager.
  • Change Management: Prepare and manage field change orders as required.
  • Scheduling: Review and maintain the construction schedule to ensure timely project completion.
  • Time Management: Submit detailed hourly timecards for job costing.
  • Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive daily log of project activities.
  • Safety Management: Ensure site safety measures align with corporate Health and Safety standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Culture Development: Foster a culture of safety with a focus on achieving zero incidents.
  • Team Leadership: Implement supervision and worker responsibilities as outlined in the company Health and Safety Manual.
  • Team Development: Utilize strong management skills to lead the team effectively and ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience as a Site Superintendent, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Education: Journeyman certification is an asset.
  • Skills: Proficiency with wood forming systems, experience in designing and installing anchor bolt templates, skilled in setting elevations and grades, ability to read and interpret industrial/construction blueprints, proven communication skills, computer literate, and knowledge of safety certifications.
