Role and Responsibilities

The Training Support Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing a range of tasks related to the distribution of training materials, services, and relevant information. This position will assist and provide guidance to program execution leaders for forthcoming courseware training design and development initiatives. Key responsibilities include organizing and maintaining program control documents, data, and established standards. The role involves collaboration with subcontractors and clients, which may include preparing and presenting necessary documentation.

This position entails providing support to instructional designers and execution leaders in the creation and development of training solutions. It serves a dual purpose: organizing and maintaining curriculum data within course control documents and acting as a BNH advisor throughout the program's transition-in phase; as well as planning standards, documentation, and quality assurance support for the Instructional Systems Design team. Specific duties include:

Assisting in program planning activities and consulting with project leadership in preparation for project execution Entering, organizing, and maintaining BNH Advisor data Drafting standards documents and instructional design job aids, along with other documentation and process support activities Supporting quality assurance and enforcing standards Potentially attending client meetings and training sites to support training design and development activities Performing miscellaneous duties as required

Our ideal candidate possesses:

Experience with ADDIE and related training program development processes Previous involvement in Canadian Military Training Programs Expertise in developing and documenting writing standards and courseware best practices Experience in reviewing and validating instructional content against established standards Skills in data organization and/or data entry A professional degree in a relevant field (education, instructional design, or similar is considered an asset) Eligibility to obtain a security clearance with access to NATO secret documents and compliance with ITAR requirements Proficiency in English

Desired skills include:

Comfort with CFITES Ability to work independently under tight deadlines Strong writing and communication abilities Familiarity with technology and the capacity to learn new software (Experience with BNH Advisor and/or Relational Databases is an asset) Customer service experience is advantageous
