Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer - Building Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of plans and specifications for building mechanics projects, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of plans and specifications for building mechanics projects, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
- Act as a technical reference for the team, providing expertise and assistance in problem solving.
- Work closely with project managers, coordinating team activities, meeting with customers, and ensuring the financial performance of projects.
- Participate in the design of building mechanical systems, including plumbing, heating, ventilation, regulation, and controls.
- Write technical specifications and reports for projects, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
- Participate in work supervision with assigned teams.
- Supervise the modeling team, ensuring efficient and coordinated management, and participate actively in coordination meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, with a specialization in building mechanics.
- Active member of the OIQ.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
- Proficiency in REVIT, MEP, and MS Office.
