Batter Operator

We are seeking a skilled Batter Operator - Mixing and Application Specialist to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our French fry batter products.
Key Responsibilities- Mixing and Application: Ensure the batter meets product specifications by mixing and applying the correct ingredients and quantities.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to prevent contamination and ensure optimal performance.
- Quality Control: Monitor and record the consistency of the batter to ensure adequate coverage of the product.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper rotation of raw ingredients.
- Documentation: Maintain all required documentation, including quality test results and inventory records.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in a mixing and application role.
- Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
- Licenses/Certifications: WHMIS certification and ability to work at heights (scissor/boom lift training).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 40-50 lbs, climb stairs or ladders, and work in a hot and humid environment.
- Work Schedule: Rotating shift work, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
