Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations at SIL Plastic Sales & Supplies. This role is essential in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision: Lead and manage a team of production workers, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and safely.
  • Scheduling: Develop and implement work schedules to meet production targets while coordinating with other departments.
  • Personnel Management: Participate in hiring processes and recommend promotions based on performance.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Productivity Enhancement: Suggest and implement strategies to enhance productivity and improve product quality.
  • Training: Provide training to new staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Inventory Management: Order necessary materials and supplies to ensure uninterrupted production.
Team Leadership

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-10 individuals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Office is required to manage reports and documentation effectively.

Work Environment

The role demands attention to detail and the ability to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday. The physical demands include lifting items up to 20 lbs (9 kg).
