Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Next Structural Integrity Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment for our clients in the Nuclear and Oil and Gas industries.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead teams of engineers in the design and development of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines and ensure tasks are completed within allocated time frames.
  • Liaise with other discipline leads, project managers, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports and calculations, including hydraulic, equipment sizing, stress, and FMEA.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications for services, components, and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Good knowledge of CANDU nuclear power plant design and operation, as well as CANDU reactor components.
  • Understanding of engineering change control process.
  • Experience in compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
  • Experience in piping and equipment design.
  • Good understanding and experience with Engineering Change Control (ECC) process.
