Next Structural Integrity Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment for our clients in the Nuclear and Oil and Gas industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain project timelines and complete tasks within allocated time frames.
  • Liaise with discipline leads, project managers, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth information flow.
  • Develop and implement design solutions, including reports and calculations.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Manage knowledge-based work units and develop strategies for program planning.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in mechanical design and development.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good knowledge of CANDU nuclear power plant design and operation.
  • Understanding of engineering change control process.
  • Experience in compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Past experience supporting ASME Section III Appendix XXIII Qualification for Design Specification and Overpressure Protection Report.
  • Eng. designation and valid Nuclear site access.
