About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Advisor to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating security risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security risks, and provide guidance on security best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and recommend new security solutions to the team.
  • Perform security testing and vulnerability assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain security awareness training programs for employees.
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in information technology, with a focus on security.
  • Experience working with SIEM systems, such as Microsoft Sentinel and Google.
  • Experience with SOAR automation and User and Entity Behavior Analysis (UEBA).
  • Strong knowledge of application security principles and practices.
  • Experience in a DevSecOps - CI/CD environment.
  • Good understanding of common security gaps in data and cloud applications.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
