About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Security Advisor to join our team at Desjardins. As a senior IT security advisor, you will play a critical role in protecting our IT infrastructure, software, and data from unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead IT Security Projects: You will lead specialized development projects, initiatives, and activities that significantly impact our organization.
  2. Advise Clients and Partners: You will advise our clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute, and monitor strategic projects and initiatives.
  3. Develop IT Security Policies: You will develop and update policies, standards, models, and programs to support our unit's strategic projects and initiatives.
  4. Identify and Address IT Security Issues: You will identify, analyze, diagnose, and address major IT security issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies.
  5. Represent Desjardins: You will represent our organization before senior management committees and decision-making bodies.
  6. Negotiate with External Partners: You will represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external partners and organizations.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree: You must have a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  2. Relevant Experience: You must have a minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
  3. Language Skills: You must have knowledge of French and intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members, and/or clients.
