Position Overview

As a Child Development Specialist at 43235 Yukon Inc., you will play a vital role in nurturing the growth and development of young children. Your expertise will help create a supportive environment that fosters their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social skills.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or a non-university certificate or diploma lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years in a related field.
Work Environment

This position is based in a child care center, where you will collaborate with a team of early childhood educators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute child-care programs that enhance children's overall development.
  • Support early childhood educators in implementing programs aimed at promoting children's growth.
  • Lead engaging activities such as storytelling, singing, and excursions to local attractions.
  • Encourage creative expression through various mediums including art, music, and physical activities.
  • Assist children in developing healthy habits related to nutrition, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and maintain a safe environment.
Certifications Required
  • Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3)
  • First Aid Certification
  • CPR Certification
Safety and Health Protocols
  • Completion of a criminal record check.
  • Medical examination and immunization records are required.
  • Tuberculosis testing is mandatory.
