Job Summary

Hit & Run Collision Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
  • Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal.
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC).
  • Determine weldability of materials.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
Work Environment

As a Welder - Fabrication Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Or equivalent experience.
