Early Years Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Program Coordinator to join our team at the YMCA of Three Rivers. As a key member of our EarlyON Child and Family Centres, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of young children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the centre is offering quality, age and developmentally appropriate care, programs, and services that meet and/or exceed regulations.
- Provide curriculum champion support to staff, students and volunteers by mentoring and coaching on the facilitation of EarlyON programs and services.
- Ensure all requirements of the EarlyON curriculum are supported, including the facilitation of EarlyON programs and services.
- Primary responsibility when a Supervisor/Lead is not onsite for non-emergency incidents/accidents/situations that occur onsite.
- Support supervisor and team in program or environmental planning in alignment with EarlyON pedagogy and principles of family support.
- Peer-Reviewing written reflections and documentation weekly with the lens to proof-reading, and alignment with expectations.
- Maintains effective and positive communication within the YMCA of Three Rivers as an organization, and with children, parents and community contacts.
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with knowledge and expertise in child development and play and inquiry based learning.
- Experience creating environments that nurture relationships for children, parents and caregivers based on the latest evidence and research.
- Demonstrated knowledge of How Does Learning Happen? Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years and experience delivering high quality early years programs.
- Relationship building, communication, adaptability, creativity and innovation, and teamwork are key competencies.
