  1. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking Japanese meals for our bento, deli menus, and catering services.
  2. You will plan and create new menus, ensuring that all dishes meet our high quality standards.
  3. As a leader, you will instruct and train our cooks, assistant cooks, and kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
  4. You will maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
  5. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our kitchen and work area.
  6. As a trainer, you will develop and implement training programs for our kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Requirements:

  1. You must have a secondary school completion and several years of experience in food preparation in a commercial environment.
  2. Experience in a leadership role in a commercial cooking environment is highly desirable.

Language: English

Compensation: $20.00/hour, 40 hours/week, 10 days paid vacation.
