Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Python Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design, develop, and test scalable distributed systems using Python. Your expertise in server-side development, database management, and cloud services will be essential in driving our business forward.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop scalable distributed systems using Python.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  3. Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  4. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our engineering processes.
  5. Work closely with our data team to design and implement data-driven solutions.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our products and services.
Requirements
  1. 4+ years of professional experience as an engineer.
  2. 4+ years of server-side expertise in Python.
  3. 2+ years of experience with MySql/PostgreSQL.
  4. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy.
  5. A quick learner and initiative-taker.
  6. Experience in product-driven and data-driven development.
  7. Proven experience in designing, developing, and testing scalable distributed systems.
  8. Advantage - experience with cloud services like AWS, Heroku, GCP or Azure.
