Job Opportunity at Mapgears

We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our team at Mapgears. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web mapping products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement high-quality Python code for our web mapping products
  2. Collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements
  3. Ensure seamless integration with our existing systems and technologies
  4. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes

Requirements:

  1. At least 1 year of Python development experience
  2. Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts
  3. Experience with Git and Linux operating systems
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills:

  1. Knowledge of the Pyramid framework for Python
  2. Experience with OSGeo Foundation tools
  3. Knowledge of systems administration
