About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at HELEN CHU. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Household Organization: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Support and Assistance: Launder clothing and household linens, provide general support and assistance to household members as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, reliability.
Working Conditions

This is a temporary position, working 30 hours per week. The work language is English.
