About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our Private Household team. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Household Management: Launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies.
  • Additional Tasks: Clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, sitting, walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
Work Environment

Our household is a non-smoking environment. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. Room and board are provided.

Work Language and Hours

English is the primary language spoken in our household. The work schedule is 30 hours per week.
