About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at HELEN CHU. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Organization: Ensure the home is clean and tidy, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Household Management: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock the linen closet.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Maintenance: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Ironing: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and reliability.
Working Conditions

This is a temporary position, working 30 hours per week. The work language is English.
