Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service skills.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure staff are equipped to provide excellent service.
- Food Service Operations
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and manage inventory levels to minimize waste.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for food and supplies.
- Team Management
- Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure seamless team collaboration.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and deadlines.
- Stand for extended periods, walk, and move frequently throughout the restaurant.
