As a leading boutique public accounting firm, Bruce & Monahan offers a wide range of accounting, tax, and business advisory services to reputable private companies in Atlantic Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the firm in achieving strategic objectives by working collaboratively with team members and partners.
- Review engagements, prepare corporate and personal trust tax returns, and compilation engagements.
- Conduct complex accounting research, client accounting, and enquiry of management.
- Attend client meetings and provide partner-level service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Commerce or BBA in Accounting.
- CPA designation or interest in completing a CPA designation.
- Proactive and detail-oriented problem solver with strong financial and analytical comprehension.
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in financial statement preparation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CaseWare and professional tax software in a public accounting environment.
