Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at CASA Mental Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care and support to children, youth, and families who have experienced trauma.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Trauma-Focused Therapies: Develop and implement individualized trauma-focused mental health therapies to children, teens, and families, promoting healing and recovery.
- Support Caregivers: Collaborate with caregivers to develop specialized parenting skills, enhancing their ability to support their children's mental health and well-being.
- Case Management and Collaboration: Conduct case management functions, working closely with internal and external professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients.
- Supervision and Education: Offer supervision for student placements and contribute to staff education, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Education and Registration: Master's degree in psychology, social work, or occupational therapy, with current registration with a professional college.
- Experience and Skills: Minimum of two years of clinical practice in child and family mental health, with demonstrated ability to practice culturally-safe therapeutic interventions and knowledge of trauma healing.
- Organizational and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
