About the Role

Mental Health Therapists work collaboratively with our inter-professional team to provide high-quality clinical services. They conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to support children, adolescents, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough bio-psycho-social assessments to identify mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients
  • Facilitate group and family therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure comprehensive care
  • Advocate for clients and their families as needed
  • Participate in inter-professional team meetings and contribute to case management
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records

  • Salary: $43.17 - $55.39 per hour
Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in social work, occupational therapy, child and youth counselling, addictions counselling, or psychology
  • Experience working in a clinical practice setting and in child and family mental health and/or youth addictions
  • Membership in good standing with a professional association/college
Conditions of Employment

  • Ability to pass and maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification
