Make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by traumatic stress injuries. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will be part of a collaborative team providing comprehensive care and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to patients with traumatic stress injuries, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct mental status exams and other clinical assessments as required.
- Engage with patients and families to promote health and well-being.
- Current registration as an RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Up to 6 months of experience in general nursing practice.
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act (MHA) and documentation standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
