As a key part of this effort, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lawyer to join our team as a solicitor, counsel, and advisor. The successful candidate will have a strong background in municipal law and real estate, with the ability to provide expert advice and representation to the City of London in a variety of legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor degree and be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada. Fluency in French is an asset. The position is temporary, full-time, and will last up to two years. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide expert advice and representation to the City of London in municipal law and real estate matters
* Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents and contracts
* Conduct research and analysis on complex legal issues
* Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve the City of London's goals and objectives

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor degree
* Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada
* Strong background in municipal law and real estate
* Fluency in French is an asset
